Mr. Kerrigan has performed and managed a wide variety of client engagements, including public and private company security analyses and valuations for purposes of gift and estate tax filings, corporate and shareholder planning, sale/merger transactions, buy/sell agreements and Employee Stock Ownership Plans (ESOPs). The analyses prepared by Mr. Kerrigan have been used specifically by his clients to provide valuation support in estate and gift tax matters; settle tax disputes with the government; effect corporate restructuring; purchase and sell companies; purchase and sell minority ownership interests; assist in the determination of the fairness, from a financial point of view, of tender offers and corporate acquisitions; create preferred stocks and debt securities; and establish and maintain ESOPs and stock option plans.
