Hal is responsible for the day-to-day operations of MPI. Since joining MPI, Hal has determined values for businesses in a wide range of industries for a variety of purposes including estate and gift taxes, Employee Stock Ownership Plans, fairness opinions, mergers and acquisitions, public & private companies securities, restricted stock, S corp conversions, and general advisory assignments. He has consulted with principals and professional advisors of closely held companies regarding transaction based valuations, tax and estate planning, ownership succession and continuity planning. Hal is a member of the Board of Directors of both Management Planning, Inc. and MPI Securities, Inc. of which he is also President. MPI Securities, is a FINRA registered broker-dealer which provides corporate finance services to the owners of privately-held companies.
Prior to joining MPI in 1994 Hal worked in corporate development and middle market investment banking. |
