Since joining MPI in 1981, Mr. Koehl has prepared and managed numerous tax and transaction-based business valuations of both operating and holding companies and provided litigation support services to a wide variety of clients. He has considerable experience in a broad range of industries, including health care, manufacturing, distribution, financial and other services, banking, transportation, retailing and e-commerce. Mr. Koehl has conducted and supervised a wide variety of client engagements, including private and, to a lesser extent, public company security analyses and valuations for various purposes. Mr. Koehl has spoken on valuation topics before national and local professional associations. During his tenure at MPI, Mr. Koehl has testified as an expert witness in business valuation in various court and arbitration proceedings. He has also defended his work before the Internal Revenue Service.
